Sensei Ruzan Cicetti

The sangha is led by Ray Ruzan Cicetti, Sensei, dharma heir to Roshi Kennedy in the White Plum lineage and a Zen practitioner for many years. He received dharma transmission from Robert Jinsen Kennedy, Roshi, in December 2004 and is his sixth dharma successor. He is the resident lay teacher at The Empty Bowl Zendo in Morristown NJ. Sensei is also a psychotherapist in private practice with an emphasis on stress related problems, relationship issues, and bringing spirit back into the therapeutic relationship. He is married with a grown son and two grandchildren.

 

Kojin Tim Wever, Lead Practitioner

Kojin has been a member of Empty Bowl for many years. He is married and a father of two, living in Morristown.
