Our Community

Our community, or "sangha", is a diverse group. We come from different experiences and are drawn to Zen for different reasons, and use that diversity to strengthen our support of each other's practice.

In this section of the site, we'll be posting interviews with some of our members about their interests in Zen Buddhism and their experiences with the practice. Keep an eye on this spot!

Empty Bowl Zendo is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin.
